Peace be with you, all of you, today and forever

In the Catholic liturgy, there comes a time in the Mass where the priest asks the congregation to offer each other the sign of peace.

The sign of peace can be a hug, a kiss, or simply a handshake.  To complete the sign of peace, each congregant looks at the other and says four little words.

Peace be with you.

Today, I feel such a rush of love that I want to reach out my hand across the miles and offer you my own sign of peace.

Peace be with you, all of you, today and forever.
