Third Quarter Moon, A Poem

Half Moon at midnight, a sentinel shines

In deepest night, watching those who sleep

Enchanting dreamers with beams of light

Sprinkled like dew upon slumbering eyes

And filling dreams with magical things

Super Moon, November 14, 2016

Mr. LaVeaux and I went outside last night to find the Moon as she was rising from the pine trees behind the house. This photo was taken from my driveway. Please enjoy this photo of the Moon. I snapped this photo with the intention of sharing it with the world and was very pleased at the result. I hope you enjoy it, too.

New Moon, A Poem

Sister Moon, your infant light

Shimmers on the horizon

You are newly born, a waif

Catching wishes and dreams, filling

Hearts with hope, hearts with love

Opening your arms to the universe

Sending our desires into the Cosmos

Working magic on our behalf
