Half Moon at midnight, a sentinel shines
In deepest night, watching those who sleep
Enchanting dreamers with beams of light
Sprinkled like dew upon slumbering eyes
And filling dreams with magical things

Shimmers on the horizon
You are newly born, a waif
Catching wishes and dreams, filling
Hearts with hope, hearts with love
Opening your arms to the universe
Sending our desires into the Cosmos
Working magic on our behalf

The proof for the print copy of my new book, Echo LaVeaux’s Book of the Moon, arrived in today’s mail. It turned out a lot nicer than I thought it would.
Once I proofread this copy, I’ll have it set to publish by Monday. My goal was to have this available on or by Halloween. Grateful to think I may be able to accomplish this by that day.
As the moon is entering her Dark phase, may you find solace in the deep night and joy in Samhain celebrations.
Thank you for your support of my work.
In this book I have created a pathway toward working with each of the moon’s phases, using original poetry, reflections, meditations and ideas for setting intentions at each phase of the moon.
It is my hope that you will enjoy reading and using it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
Thank you for supporting my work. Keep your eyes on the moon.
Earlier today I completed the second draft of Echo LaVeaux’s Book of the Moon. The book is due a third reread and edit. My hope is that it will be up on Kindle by the end of the week and no later than Halloween day.
The book is slim but filled with poetry, reflections, meditations, and ideas for intention setting during each phase of the Moon. It was created as a way to share my impressions of the Moon during the course of her lifecycle. My hope is that it touches you and inspires you to grow closer to our cosmic sister.
Velvet is still available for FREE on KindleUnlimited. Please grab a copy and – if you have already read the book – please leave your impressions on it by writing a review. If you do, I would be most grateful.
Thank you for supporting me in my writing endeavors.
Peace and all good things from my heart to yours.
Though I’ve taken a bit of a break from writing, I am now nearly finished with the first draft of my next work: Echo LaVeaux’s Book of the Moon.
A small volume, this will be a spiritually-oriented book about the moon and our relationship with it. It will take the reader through each of the lunar phases and offer poetry, reflections and meditations created to assist the reader in learning to work with the moon at any time of the lunar cycle.
I look forward to bringing this work out into the world, and I hope that you will find it beneficial in your personal spiritual journey.
Keep an eye on this page for updates. And as always, thank you for your support.
