Diving deep – a poem

Swimming in the sea of space
In the stars I find my place

Clouds of stardust carry me
Further out into the sea

Diving deep I reach the place

beautiful, incomprehensible

whispers melt the icy dew

on winter nighttime pasture

harvest of pin-dot stars

infinity – a poem

the purpling atmosphere

captures moonbeams

as stars begin

their long journey

through infinity in our finiteness

on the awe of the sky

“Our ancestors worshipped the Sun, and they were not that foolish.  It makes sense to revere the Sun and the stars, for we are their children.” ~ Carl Sagan
